Jake learned from his dad that winemaking at its heart is living a lifestyle that inspires creativity, life, storytelling, and love in wild outdoor places that one then uses to create real and delicious wine.

Revelshine’s founder, 4th generation winemaker Jake Bilbro, has deep-rooted passion for the outdoor lifestyle instilled from his dad at an early age. Jake learned that to make wines from the land, you had to be connected to the land. Growing up in his dad’s winery and footsteps, Jake learned that abalone diving, spearfishing, foraging for mushrooms, skiing, fly fishing, and good friends are all integral parts of making wine.
With winemaking in his blood and the outdoors in his heart, Jake created Revelshine with the hope of bringing wine beyond the boundaries of the traditional table in as sustainable manner as possible to celebrate the beauty of the world and people around us — “a traditional approach to sustainable winemaking with and outdoor spirit.”
